Meetings, Meetings and Meetings

If people implemented everything they talked positively at meetings, there would be no reason to sit down for meeting for a long time. But that does not happen. Meetings happen again and again. Many times on the same topic, even among same people. Ironically, most meetings end with commitment to sit down again for another meeting and the issue still open. There is a old saying 'money attract more money'. But in modern corporate culture, the adage should be modified as 'meetings attract more meetings'.
Meetings is an amalgamation of different people, drawn willingly or unwillingly to sit down together and discuss a common issue. But the common issue ends up leading to divergent views, ideas and opinions. Hence more meetings.
So long as corporate cultures remain alive, meetings shall endure.
No need to say 'long live meetings!'. They shall live anyways.
